PJ Hall fails physical, will be reverted to Las Vegas

It was announced on Tuesday afternoon that PJ Hall had failed his physical and will revert to Las Vegas. This information comes a day after the Vikings traded for the former second-round pick after learning Michael Pierce has opted out of the 2020 season.

It was also announced that Armon Watts has been placed on the Vikings Reserve/COVID-19 list, making the depth of the interior of the defensive line even thinner.

On the bright side, Justin Jefferson has been lifted from the same list, getting the Vikings first-round pick back at TCO Performance Center.

It is now even more likely that the Vikings will have to bring in a free agent to help solidify their defensive line. The only returning starters from the positional group are Danielle Hunter and Shamar Stephen.

A few names that the Vikings could consider are Damon Harrison, Mike Daniels and Everson Griffen. Although Griffen is a defensive end, it would still help to bring in a veteran leader along the defensive line.

Andre Patterson has made his presence known while training younger players to fit in along his defensive line. With all the news breaking in the last week, he will have his work cut out for him heading into the 2020 season.
