Bucks eliminated by Heat 103-94 in Game 5 Tuesday night

No Giannis, no offense for the Eastern Conference's number-one seed.

Milwaukee's season came to an earlier-than-expected end in the NBA Playoffs on Tuesday night, as the Bucks lost to the Miami Heat 103-94 in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Giannis Antetokounmpo missed the contest due to a sprained ankle he suffered in Game 3 of the series and aggravated in Game 4. In his stead, the Bucks couldn't find any offense in an elimination game.

Fellow All-Star Khris Middleton shot just eight for 25 before fouling out in the closing minutes of the contest, leading the Bucks with 23 points. As a team, Milwaukee could only muster 36% shooting, and only 27% from deep.

Miami had cold stretches as well in the game, but managed to get six players into double figures on the night, including former Marquette stars Jimmy Butler (17) and Jae Crowder (16), as well as former Wisconsin high school standout Tyler Herro, who finished with 14 points off the bench.

Herro, who played at Whitnall High School, also becomes the first player born in the 2000's to make it to an NBA Conference Finals.

Questions loom this offseason for the Bucks, particularly with complimentary players who struggled in the NBA Bubble, such as George Hill, Eric Bledsoe, Ersan Ilyasova, and others.

The Eastern Conference's heavy favorite went 5-5 in this year's NBA Playoffs and just 8-10 in the Bubble. Since going up 2-0 in last year's Eastern Conference Finals against eventual champion Toronto, the Bucks are just 5-9 in playoff games.
